Subject: Application for single entry tourist visa
    Good day,

I am a Namibian citizen residing in Namibia wanting to apply for the above UAE visa. My travel plan is as follows:
Arrival in Dubai: 04 April 2018
Departure from Dubai: 06 April 2018

Is there sufficient time for visa issuance?
    Visa fees?
    Visa requirements?

    Good day,
I have applied VISAS for me & my family on 06/08/2018. I was told the VISA processing takes between 5-7 working days. It’s the third week now and I am still waiting..My flight tickets & accommodation is booked already for the 01 September 2018. ( I booked in March 2018 but could only apply for VISAS 2-3 WEEKS before departure as per the consultant)

I have been calling everyday since Monday last week 13/08/18 to follow up on the application and up until today I have not received anything.

The lady answering the calls keep telling me that they have not received anything as yet. I called Friday morning on 18/08/2018. Again there was nothing received and I was told to call back in the afternoon. I then inquired about the time the office closes on Friday afternoon & I was told 03:00pm

I tried calling from 02:00pm and every few minutes after that, but nobody picked up the call. It just kept ringing and ringing the whole afternoon.

Today (20/08/2018), I tried calling from 09:00am & the same thing all over again!!
The phone just keeps ringing & nobody is interested in picking up the calls..It’s now 11:30am but the phone continues to ring 🙁

Most of the reviews on google are all complaints about the lack of interest in answering calls…
This is really frustrating & the service is very poor!!

It would be greatly appreciated if the calls can be answered and also feedback be provided in order for us to be at ease

I need to get my legalized degree stamped by the UAE embassy. I emailed them 3 times about 1,5 months ago, asking what documents I needed to get my legalized degree attested. They didn’t reply, so my sister went there about a month ago (I had to courier my documents from Cambodia, as I was stranded there). Upon showing my legalized documents, they told my sister that I needed a verification letter from SAQA. Under normal circumstances, getting the SAQA-letter (and getting it stamped by DIRCO) would literally take a day or two. Because of COVID-19, this almost took 4 weeks! Now, when my sister can finally go to the UAE embassy to get my legalized degree attested on my behalf (I’m stuck in quarantine), they are CLOSED for 2 weeks because someone tested positive for the virus. I’m supposed to start my new job in the UAE in 2 weeks’ time, but I can’t without my work visa and residency permit. These I cannot get without my attested degree. Now I will have to start my job 2 weeks late. This could all have been avoided if the embassy in Pretoria had just answered my emails – I could have applied for my SAQA -verification letter online weeks in advance.
