The application for citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania must be submitted electronically through the Lithuanian Migration Information System (MIGRIS) in a simplified manner.
After submitting your application, you will receive an email with useful information about the next steps to take and a reminder of your visit.
Within 4 months from the date of completion of this application through MIGRIS, the application will be forwarded to the Embassy. You must appear in person at the Immigration Department or Embassy to submit the original, digital copies of the documents you attached when completing the application for citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania.
Within one month of completion by MIGRIS whether your submitted documents comply with the requirements established in the citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania and (or) description.
You must remedy the specified defects within one month of receiving the notice
If the deficiencies are not remedied within the stipulated time period, the application for granting the citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania in the simple manner will not be accepted
Only a Migration Department employee can edit your application at the time of your scheduled visit. However, you are responsible for the correctness of the data at the time of filing, so the Migration Department staff has the right to reject an incorrectly completed application.

In a general manner, the document is issued in 1 month. Urgently, the document is delivered in 1 or 5 business days.
