Procedure to apply and obtain a Visa to Tonga

  • Passport holders from ANY of the following nations are permitted entry into the Kingdom and may apply for a visitor’s visa UPON ARRIVAL at the port of entry. This is contingent upon the visitor possessing a valid return ticket out of the Kingdom to a country into which they are permitted entry, as well as the Immigration Office’s confirmation that the visitor has enough money to support herself or himself while in Tonga. For a month, there is no price for the visa.
  • Please get in touch with the Immigration Department in Nuku’alofa or Neiafu, Vava’u, at 26 970, 26 971, or via email at tonga.permit@gmail.com, if you would want to renew your visa or have any other questions.
  • It is the responsibility of all non-Tongan passport holders to make sure their visas are valid for the entire time they are visiting the Kingdom.
  • Fill in the application form here.
