What are the Documents Required?

Completed Application Form
2 color photos of the person
Original official letter with information on the business trip to a foreign country (business trip date and, if necessary, the term of office of the person on business trips)
And the necessity for the issuance of diplomatic passport provided by the relevant state body and addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Original and copy of Identity Card
If application is for official’s child who is under the age of 15, a medical certificate about the blood group (this document is not required when a child’s personal identification card is issued)
Document on payment of state fee

Complete the application form with accurate and up-to-date information.
Be sure to follow the provided instructions and guidelines.
Locate the nearest Passport Offices or Azerbaijan Embassy
Obtain the application form in person or download it from the official website if available.
Pay the applicable passport fees.
Submit the completed application form and all the required documents and fees to the passport office.
An employee will verify the supporting documents provided. If the request is rejected, the concerned person will be informed through the passport office with a personal letter.
Wait for the processing of your passport application. This can take some time, so it’s advisable to apply well before any planned travel.
International passports will be issued for a period according to the state duty paid.
Once the passport is ready, an SMS notification will be sent to the citizen. Citizens can approach the department with their identity card on any day of the week to obtain an international passport
The passport is issued to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the manner prescribed by Law and is valid for travel to all countries.
