What is Hayya Card?
The term “Hayya Card” refers to a smart device that SC will give to each applicant whose application is accepted (either physically as a smart card or digitally through the Hayya App). It will provide:
- will allow visitors from other countries admission into the State of Qatar,
- enables the Applicant to enter a stadium to view a match when used in conjunction with a valid match ticket;
- could potentially offer other Hayya Services.
What is the eligibility?
- you are at least 18 years old or you are the applicant’s parent or legal guardian;
- During your stay in Qatar, you will abide by all laws of the country;
- Each applicant must show proof of a confirmed hotel reservation made in Qatar, either through QAA or another legal channel.
- Every applicant is prohibited from traveling to the State of Qatar before December 2, 2022, or after December 23, 2022;
- All spectators require a match ticket or an invitation from a Hayya Card holder with a ticket (international fans only).
- A current Qatar residence permit is required for residents.
- International visitors must register their accommodations or submit an application for a Matchday Visit, and their passports must be valid until at least March 22, 2023.
Where to apply/Procedure?
- You can apply online.
- Purchase a FIFA match ticket or receive an invitation from a ticketed Hayya Card holder
- Create an account and enter all the details.
- After submitting your application on the Hayya Portal, you will receive an email confirming your application number and a response indicating whether your application was successful.
- On the Hayya Portal, you will be able to follow the development of your application.
- You will be notified that your request for a Hayya Card has been approved if your application is successful.
- If your application is denied, you may submit two more applications using the application data and any other information that has been provided to you. If you submitted your initial application with incorrect application data, you must wait until you hear back from that application before submitting any additional applications with accurate application data. To be able to attend a match, you must make sure your application is submitted in time.
- By using the Hayya Portal, you can add to or change your application. A submitted application, however, cannot be changed.
What are documents required?
- International visitors must register their accommodations or submit an application for a Matchday Visit, and their passports must be valid until at least March 22, 2023.
- Residents of Qatar need a valid Qatar residence permit.
- All spectators require a match ticket or an invitation from a Hayya Card holder with a ticket (international fans only).
What is the cost?
- A non-refundable processing charge of QAR 500 per applicant is required for applications submitted through the Hayya With Me or Early December Hayya. Each applicant for a Hayya Card under either of these programs is required to pay this cost, regardless of whether they apply on their own behalf or have someone else do so. Children under the age of 12 are the lone exemption, and they won’t be charged.
What is the validity?
- Holders of the Hayya Card are permitted to remain in Qatar even after the competition has ended. By January 23, 2023, the Hayya Card will no longer be usable.
What is the processing time?
- Applications for Hayya from international fans require a preliminary clearance within 5 calendar days (subject to photo and passport copy quality compliance).
- A further 24-hour period may be needed for confirmation of accommodations (depending on accommodation type).
- For nationals and residents of Qatar, the application deadline is three calendar days.
