Procedure: apply and obtain a Palestine Passport

  • Visit the nearest MOFAE office or Palestinian embassy/consulate and submit your completed application and documents.
  • The fee varies depending on the type of passport (new, renewal, urgent) and your location. If applicable, pay the fee at the MOFAE office or through the online portal.
  • Expect the application processing to take around 4-6 weeks, though it can sometimes be longer, depending on circumstances.


  • Hold Palestinian citizenship or have valid Palestinian residency documentation (such as a Palestinian ID card).
  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Not have any outstanding legal issues or travel restrictions within Palestine or other countries.
  • If you’re under 18,¬†you will need additional documents and parental/guardian consent for the application.

  • To maintain residency in the nation and for personal reasons, citizens must apply for passport renewals or issues no later than three months or six months before the expiration date.
  • It will take 30 days to 45 days to complete the procedure.
  • Upload all the valid documents.
  • Visit the nearest embassy center.
  • Pay the renewal fees.
