  • Azza Hamad Alsowafy

My name is Azza Hamad Alsowafy.
    Currently im livin in Norway.

Originality lm Omani due to my parents background.

My family has got an historical background of Oman citizehip but according to my family history both Grand father Mohamed bin Abdallah
sowafi and father Hamad Bin Mohamed Alsowafi were born in Al-wafi Sinawi,in Oman.

Historically my father moved to Africa with my grandfather when he was a kid of 7yrs due to political issues in many many years ago in Oman.
They moved to east Africa where they mate with the family of my mother Athira Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi

My grand father Hamood bin Suleiman Shaqsi was born in Rustaq father of my mother Athira Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi.Due to some political issues in Oman and according to what my fathers told us, they moved to East Africa Uganda.

My father Hamad Mohamed Alsowafi married my mother Athira Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi and they gave birth to eight children, l have 6 brothers and we are two girls

We are eight kids names of brothers Said Hamad Mohamed, Abdallah Hamad Mohamed, Habiba Hamad Mohamed, Hamood Hamad bin Mohamed, Nassor Hamad Bin mohamed ,Suleiman Hamad Bin Mohamed, Abdallah Hamad bin mohamed And me my self Azza Hamad bin mohamed.

my brothers and one sister are now living in Oman just in working parment, my sister is married to my cousin Zahir Saif Shaqsi, she has one kid Saif Zahir Shaqsi, but she has lived for now 15 yrs but they have never issued her Oman citizenship
My brothers applied for oman passort/citizhip on the name of our grandfather Mohamed bin Abdallah and father Hamad bin Mohamed Abdallah sowafi. Unfortunitly l have to say that my parents died both father and mother and grandfather too.Though my mother has got a big family in Oman all with Oman citizenahip, my mothers Athira Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi had no Oman citizenship but her brothers Who died Saif bin Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi, Ahmed bin Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi, Saleh Hamood Sulieman) had oman passports , my mothers brothers who are alive now and still living now in Oman, Salim Hamood Suleiman Alshaqsi, Abdallah Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi, Nassor Hamood Suleiman Shaqsi.Sisters of mother Shekha Hamood Shaqsi owns oman Passport, (Sharifa Hamood Has no Oman passport but lives in family visa in oman), Hamida Hamood shaqsi Agethe Hamood Shaqsi, Aziza Hamood Shaqsi,Hamida Hamood Shaqsi, own oman passport and alive(Zeyan Hamood Shaqsi And Azza Hammod Shaqsi died). The reason why lm seeking for justice l had that in Oman its impossible to get citizenship though one qualifies for applying with all necessery documents originality of family oman roots and background.

My three brothers have tried to apply with all the illegal documents are submitted.Said Hamad Mohammed, Nassor Hamad Mohamed, Abdallah Hamad Mohamed, Mohammed Hamad Mohamed sowafi through our old grand fathers old passport, they also got some necessary document from our biladi family members, shekha from biladi Al lowafi. My sister Habiba Hamad applied through her husband Zahir Saif Hamood Shaqsi but she hasn’t got any results until,Me Azza Hamad Alsowafy lm want to apply also becouse lm.now granted by the Norwegian government to have my nationality passport and citizenship but due to covid 19 outbreak l have not returned home since 2019.

And my two brothers haven’t applied yet one is still living in Uganda Suleiman Hamad Mohammed and he is suffering alone, my brother Hamood Hamad Mohammed hasn’t applied yet but living in just working visa.So l want to apply too through my family generation background and my two brothers.
I really hope I’m on the right place, so how can this office help us search for justice, we have lost many years suffering yet we are omani originally and by blood. We need help so that we can gain our citizenship. Please help us so that they can grant us our citizenship.Alot of Oman are out and wanting to come in there original country Omani where they belong.

    Inshallah kheri
I hope for the positive answer for more information.

  • Sabrina Said

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding my current situation in Oman. I am a Tanzanian citizen who came to Oman for employment purposes, where I have been working for one and a half years.
Unfortunately, due to health issues related to asthma and respiratory challenges, my health has deteriorated significantly, making it difficult for me to continue working.

Despite my deteriorating health and my request to return home to Tanzania for medical treatment and care, my employer has refused my request and is also holding onto my passport, thereby preventing me from traveling.
When I approached the Tanzanian Embassy in Oman hoping to receive assistance, I was advised to return to my employer, who once again refused to cooperate or provide any assistance.
My employer’s details are as follows:

    Zaher Ahmed Al Busaid
    Retired
    Residence: Boshar-Muscat

This situation has left me in a difficult and desperate state, without a clear way to safely return home for treatment.
Therefore, through this email, I kindly request your sincere and prompt assistance to help resolve this matter.

I humbly request the Embassy’s intervention on my behalf to:

Negotiate with my employer for the release of my passport.
Provide legal support and advice regarding my rights as an immigrant and worker in Oman.

Assist in the repatriation process to Tanzania so that I can receive the necessary medical treatment and reunite with my family.
I understand that situations involving expatriate citizens can be challenging, but I have faith that your assistance can make a significant difference in my situation and provide me with the opportunity to return home safely.

I place my trust in you and the Embassy’s authorities, believing that assistance will be provided for my situation.

Thank you for your time and consideration of my request.

    Best regards,

    Sabrina Said Ngondae
