What is a Skilled—Recognised Graduate visa – Australia Visa?
Recent engineering graduates are eligible to use this visa for up to 18 months in Australia to live, work, or study. You must be under 31 years old and have earned a degree or higher within the last two years from a designated institution.

Eligibility
- possess engineering degrees from a certain institution of higher learning.

- Unless you held one as a member of the family unit, you cannot currently hold a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) or a Skilled – Recognized Graduate (subclass 476) as the primary applicant.
- You must be in good health if you and any family members apply for the visa together.
- You and any family members applying for the visa with you who are at least 16 years old must meet our character criteria.
- Unless you have a valid passport from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland, you must present proof of your English language skills.
- If you or any members of your family owe the Australian Government money, you or they must have settled the debt or made arrangements for it to be settled.
- If you were in Australia while your visa was cancelled or refused, you might not be eligible for this visa.
Documents Required

- You must demonstrate that you have engineering credentials from a certain university.
- After turning 16 years old, you must be prepared to present a police certificate from each country you lived in for 12 months or longer during the previous 10 years.

- If you are applying with a dependant who is younger than 18 years old, provide details such as a birth certificate.
