Requirements/Eligibility

You must:

• be a parent or person who has custody of the student, or a relative who is 21 years or older and has been nominated in writing by a parent or someone who has custody of the student
• not bring family members younger than 6 years of age, except under certain circumstances
• be able to provide accommodation, general welfare, and other support to the student unless you are applying for this visa with the support of the government of your home country.
• You must provide us with proof that you have enough money to cover the expenditures and expenses of your stay in Australia, as well as those of your accompanying family members and, in most cases, the student visa holder.
• If you are given this visa, you must maintain comprehensive health coverage throughout your whole stay. You should be covered by your insurer for any necessary medical care, including transportation.
• The requirements of the most recent substantive or subsequent bridging visa you held must have been substantially met.
• If you or any members of your family owe the Australian Government money, you or they must have settled the debt or made arrangements for it to be settled.
• If you had a visa canceled or rejected while you were in Australia, you might not be given this one.
• Must Sign the Australian values statement.

How long you can stay?

• Your visa grant letter will state the end date of your stay in Australia. We typically take into account the duration of the student’s stay or their 18th birthday when determining this date.

What is the cost?

• The primary applicant’s visa costs start at AUD 650. Each family member who applies for the visa with you must pay a fee as well. For health examinations, police records, and biometrics, you can also be required to pay additional fees.

• 50% of applications: 34 Days
• 75% of applications: 70 Days
• 90% of applications: 5 Months
