Opening Hours: Public Diplomacy section: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
For Non-Immigrant visa: Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 13:00 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. No visa interviews are conducted on the last Friday of each month.
For Immigrant Visas: Immigrant visa interviews: Monday through Thursday, by appointment only.
Services for U.S. Legal Permanent Residents: (no appointment necessary) – Friday, 09:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., except on the last Friday of the month.

Passport and Notarial services: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 – 11:00 (By appointment through Embassy website)
Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA): Wednesdays 8:00 -11:00 (By Appointment Only)
Federal Benefit Check Collection Only: Tuesdays and Thursdays 14:00 – 16:00

    To whom it my concern

    I was talking with a friend at the American embassy Awkar I usually call him at 3 pm so there was a misunderstanding between me and him
    he told me did you get over the corona virus I said yes but I misunderstood his question, I he was saying I did not catch the Corona virus and I said yes to him but I thought about it later on and I knew he was telling me whether I got the corona virus and got over it!!
    thank Jesus I never caught the corona virus!!
