Documents required to apply Cyprus Visa

1. A valid passport (at least 3 months validity and 3 blank pages to be left)
2. Two passport size (35/40mm) photos.
3. Completed visa application form
4. A cover letter stated the purpose of visit to Cyprus
5. Original Bank Statement which needs to be stamped and updated for the last 3 months with bank seal
6. Confirmed flight tickets
7. Proof of sufficient funds
8. Proof of accommodation (Hotel reservation for tourist or address of host for visiting family/friends)
9. Invitation letter from the host in Cyprus if applicable.
10. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
11. Last 3 years Income Tax Returns/Form 16

Documents required to apply Cyprus Visa for minors (under 18 years of age)

Minors under 18 years can apply for Cyprus Visa with the additional documents to be attached

1. A valid passport (at least 3 months validity and 3 blank pages to be left)
2. Signed Cyprus Visa Application Form by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s)
3. A copy of the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) passport
4. Birth certificate or adoption paper copy of the minor.
5. Any other proof of the document to prove the relationship between the minor and the parent / legal guardian.
6. Authorization letter from the parent / legal guardian if the minor is going to travel alone.

How to apply?

1. Complete the Visa application form
2. Print the completed application form and sign
3. Affix 2 passport sized (35/40mm) photographs
4. Send the completed visa application form along with the supporting documents to your residing country’s Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of Cyprus via post or in person (or) the visa application center via post or person

Requirements for visiting a friend or family member

1. Invitation letter from the host
2. Passport copy of the host
3. Completed and signed “Assumption of Responsibility for Hosting Form” which is duly completed, signed by the host and certified by the Certifying Officer in Cyprus.
4. Proof of the sufficient funds / income. (You can submit a bank guarantee letter)
5. Bank guarantee letters are issued for the amount of €340 up to €860. It may vary depending on the visa.

Assumption of Responsibility for Hosting Form

• must be completed by the Cypriot national or resident of Cyprus hosting the foreign national.
• must be signed before a Certifying Officer of the Republic of Cyprus, and certified accordingly.
• must be accompanied by a photocopy of the host’s passport/id card and residency permit where applicable.

1. Invitation letter from the organization (to be included the reason and the trip details)

• Flight ticket.
• Visa to the destination country if applicable

Requirements for Cyprus Student visa

1. Submit the educational certificate copy
2. Enrollment letter from the educational institution in Cyprus
3. A police clearance certificate

1. Copy of the work contract which must be stamped by the Cyprus Department of Labour of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance
2. A police clearance certificate
