About Dominican republic
The Dominican Republic is located on the island of Hispaniola. The country is bounded on the north by the Atlantic Ocean and on the south by the Caribbean Sea. The Dominican Republic has a land area of 48,310 km2, making it slightly smaller than Slovakia or roughly the size of the U.S. states of Vermont and New Hampshire combined. The official language is Spanish. The main religion is Christianity, with the majority practicing Roman Catholicism (78 percent of the population). It’s easy to get a Dominican republic Visa.
The Caribbean Turks and Caicos Islands are to the north, Puerto Rico to the east, and Cuba and Jamaica to the west of Hispaniola.
