About Finland

Finland is a European country located in the Arctic Circle. When it comes to extreme weather conditions, Finland is one of the most northerly countries on Earth. Fifteen percent of Finland is covered in thick forest, making it Europe’s most heavily forested nation. It was a grand duchy of the Russian empire until 1917 when it became an independent state. Since then, Finland has remained a neutral country and is not a member of NATO, like Sweden.

At 338,145 square kilometers, Finland is about the same size as Germany, or about one-tenth of the size of Montana in the United States. The current population of Finland is approx 5.5 million.

Why Finland is famous

  • Finland is frequently recognized as the happiest country in the world because its citizens have high incomes, universal health care, and a top-notch educational system.
  • Finland is also well-known for its diverse biodiversity. Since just 5.5 million people live on Finland’s 130,700 square miles of land, it stands to reason that a wide variety of wildlife would coexist peacefully with them.
  • If you visit Finland, you owe it to yourself to get outside and take advantage of the breathtaking scenery.
  • Vodka from Finland has a reputation for being very potent and one of the famous in Finland.
  • The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is another reason why more and more people are flocking to Finland.

I would like to have as much information as possible about the possibilities of studying in Finland and as far as possible advice on the choice of universities whose cost is relatively affordable and of course with a better quality of teaching.
