About Guinea Bissau
Between Senegal and Guinea, in West Africa, a tropical country with a coastline on the Atlantic Ocean. The country is divided into two sections, one continental and the other insular, which includes the Bijagós Archipelagos. The current Guinea-Bissau territory was once part of the Kaabu Empire, a Mandinka state (1537–1867) and a former Mali Empire province. It’s easy to get a Guinea Bissau Visa.

How to apply for Guinea Bissau Visa
Guinea has implemented an electronic visa, often known as an e-visa, to make admission into the country easier.

- Upload the documents.
- pay the fees and you will receive them after verification on your email id.
- Your application must be approved by the appropriate authority within 72 hours of the date of submission.
- When you arrive at Conakry Airport, head to the designated area for the visa granting counter. Please be noted that the Registration Receipt for your eVISA is essential and must be supplied in order to complete the applicant’s biometric enrollment.
- At the visa issuance desk, the applicant’s photo and fingerprint will be taken and supplied instantly.

Types of Visa
1. Single Entry Visa
- This document is granted to foreign citizens who indicate their intention to visit Guinea for no more than ninety days (90 days).

2. Long Term Visa
This visa is only provided to foreign nationals staying in Guinea after a three-month term has passed from their admission into the country. It is given to foreign nationals who seek to establish themselves in Guinea. It has a one-year validity period from the date of issuance.

3. Multiple Entry Visa
Foreign nationals from nations with which the United States has a special treaty are eligible to apply for the Multiple Entry Visa (VESRM). Its duration ranges between 3 and 5 years, depending on the Republic of Guinea’s and treaty countries’ bilateral commitments.
