  • Mr RICHARD REYNOLDS

I am the English gentleman who found what I guess to be a stolen ladies handbag, it contained no cash or credit cards etc and was hidden in bushes close to the Natural History Museum in Vienna, the date I believe was either April 3 or 4 2018. When I looked inside the bag, I noticed a Japanese Passport and a Flight Ticket for the next day. As I am not too familiar with Vienna, I decided that I should hand the bag to a security officer at the Art Museum opposite, I cannot remember it’s name, but I found a man checking entry tickets to the Museum, handed the bag to him and asked him to please contact the Japanese Embassy in Vienna and report the discovery of the bag. I hope he did as requested and the lady was reunited with her Passport, as a well travelled man, I cannot begin to imagine the anxiety caused being the victim of crime and losing one’s Passport in a foreign country.
I hope to hear that the matter was cleared up and the unfortunate lady was able to return to her home and feeling secure in Japan without delay, please give her my kindest regards and Best Wishes too.
