    To whom it may concern,

I would like to express my disappointment with the delay in obtaining a Visa/working visa for Kuwait from the Kuwait Embassy in Romania.

I do understand that last week in Romania we celebrated Easter and everyone was off work from Thursday the 5th of April up until yesterday, but today it’s Wednesday the 11th of April and everything should be back to normal, up and running.

I have been trying to call the Embassy here in Bucharest a couple of times in the last 2 weeks and it has been very hard to catch someone over the phone. However, when I came by last week, Thursday, I have been told that I need more documents, also to be legalised and that the Consul is not in anyway.

Despite my struggles and efforts in obtaining these documents as soon as possible I realised that the system in Romania and I am sorry to say it, it’s chaotic and unorganized.

Nethertheless, I did encounter the same situations in England, UK, where I have been living for nearly 10 years, but moving back to Romania 2 weeks ago I assumed that the system here will be much faster and efficient.

I do not want to come accros rude or unprofessional, but today I went once again to the Embassy hoping that the Consul will be there and it will be a matter of a day wait for the Visa to get approved from this end as I got told.

I am very worried of the situation only because I just been informed that the Counsul is very sick and he won’t be in today and there is no one to replace him, so it will be a waiting situation of a few days.

I am confused too because no member of staff seems to tell me a date or actually make an appointment for a Visa day when the Consul is there and this actually in my opinion is lack of consistency which results in having myself to do several trips to the Embassy back and fourth getting nowhere.

Once again, I apologise if this comes across too frustrating or too direct, but I hope someone from the other end will understand it.

    Many Thanks,

    Adina
