Vietnam Visa | Documents required

Compared to applying for a visa through a Vietnam Embassy, online application is quick and easy, as well as fully supported and recognized by the Vietnam Immigration Department. Choose to get a Visa on Arrival, as picking up your visa at a Vietnamese international airport is simple, requires no additional charges, and is fail-proof.

How to apply and obtain Vietnam Visa

Follow 4 easy steps to obtain Vietnam Visa:

1. Fill the online application form. This step is required in order to obtain an approval letter, which you must present upon arrival in Vietnam in order to receive your visa stamp.

Fill out the application completely and accurately, including your name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, gender, and expected arrival date. Most major credit cards are accepted, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

2. Confirm your order and make your payment. The visa fees in Vietnam are very low. You must pay a charge of $17 or more for the visa approval letter, depending on the kind of visa and the number of visas you are requesting. You will also be charged a price for the visa stamp when you arrive. A single admission visa will set you back $25, while several entries will set you back $50.

Before you travel, double-check that your passport has enough vacant pages for visa stamps. Also, be sure your passport is valid for at least six months when you arrive in Vietnam. If your passport is about to expire, have it renewed as soon as possible before you travel.

3. Get the approval letter and print it. We will begin processing your visa request as soon as you submit your application and payment. Within two business days of submitting your online application for a visa acceptance letter, you should get the approval letter through email. It is critical that you print the letter, preferably in color, and carry it with you. It’s a good idea to retain your visa approval letter with your passport so that you know where it is and can easily locate it when you arrive at the Vietnam airport.

4. At one of Vietnam’s four international airports, you can get your visa stamped. Passengers arriving at Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, or Nha Trang airports must fill out an Entry/Exit form (available at the airports or by the previous download from our website). To acquire a visa stamp in your passport, you must produce your permission letter, passport, pictures, and cash payment for the stamping cost.
