Why Zambia is famous for?

  • In Zambia, termite hills can reach the size of a small house. There’s even room for a pony.
  • The name Mosi-oa-tunya means “Smoke that Thunders,” and Victoria Falls certainly lives up to its name.
  • The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Angola, Namibia, and Zimbabwe are all bordering Zambia.
  • Zambia is home to all five of Africa’s Big Five, including lions, rhinoceros, and elephants. These creatures are protected in South Luangwa National Park.
  • The Zambian kwacha, which means ‘dawn,’ is the indigenous currency. Most ATMs will give you US dollars, which you can use to make larger purchases or pay for lodging and meals.
