Argentine Passport for Minors


PASSPORT EXTENSION FOR MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE:

Mandatory requirements:

1.Expired Passport, or which is going to expire (up to one month before expiry);
2.D.N.I., L.C. or L.E. (no other identity documents are accepted);
3.3 photos (size 4 x 4, taken from the front, against a white background, without hat and without glasses);
4.Act of Birth acknowledging motherhood and fatherhood, legalized with “Apostille of the Hague Convention of October 5th, 1961” (Departamento de Legalizaciones – Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores – Arenales 819, First Floor – City of Buenos Aires.
5.The presence of the minor and his/her parents is required. They must bring their D.N.I. If one of the parents should not accompany the minor, he/she must present his/her authorization done before the following authorities:

  1. Notary Public, duly legalized at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores or at the Notary Chamber of every Province;
  2. Argentine Consulates abroad.

6.Make an appointment by calling this number: 02-77729433/37, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.50 p.m.;
7.Payment of the relevant fee: 40 Euro.
8.Delivery of the documents: within the day.

PASSPORT RENEWAL TO MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE:
